Have a look at my professional belly dancing portfolio for a little more information on where I have danced as well as a brief snap shot of my ability to dance with some belly dancing props.
My dancing journey started in the year 2000. I always knew I had to dance, who would have thought that my instant reponse to a tiny little newspaper ad would change the life I knew forever. From the moment go, I realised that there was something special about this art form. I started attending weekly classes with a fantastic dancer: Candida di Giandomenico. I then got the opportunity to start performing in live shows. My interest in this art form kept me coming back. Two top studios merged and I continued being taught by Charlotte Blignaut.
In August of 2004 I had the privilege to go to Egypt where I attended several workshops with, amongst others: Liza El Laziza, Medhat Fahmy, Aida Nour and Samasen. I have performed at several first class events, corporate events, restaurants, weddings, bachelorettes, 50th birthday celebrations and various exhibitions.
Futher to this I have done belly dancing workshops with the famous Australian dancer Belyssa in 2007; world renowned dancer Bozenka in 2010 and 2012; Turbo Tabla king Karim Nagi in 2012 and I have attended several local workshops by top performers.
